What Bloodline are we

If you look into history you can see we have been invaded by Romans -Gauls-Picts-Normans-Danes-Vikings so it was interesting while watching TIME TEAM one day to find Phil is a true Brit his DNA proved his bloodline went back to the very earliest British people the true Brits that fought the Romans although really there would be a mixture even then
So thinking of this i wonder what our own bloodlines lead to i cannot disclose my sirname but it is a lot like a famous Viking so i would not be surprised if my blood came from them
Certainly place names give us a hint of past peoples for instance a town near me Houghton le spring WOULD BE NORMAN meaning ton means town and le meaning the spring fresh water so town the fresh water so town names give us a hint of past peoples the Romans ended town names with TON so we can see if a town has TON it would at some point have been roman
These are things that are certainly a mystery i wonder just what percentage of Brits are indeed British i doubt it would be many we all will have a mixture of Scottish Irish and Norman and Roman blood in us so very little true British dating back to pre Roman times
